We take our environmental and community responsibilities seriously to ensure we provide thriving communities in the North West with the water and waste management infrastructure they need whilst protecting the environment.
We play a big part in helping to keep the North West’s coastline, river and lakes clean. That’s why we are investing £455 million in Cumbria by 2015.
As part of our commitment to significantly improve the water quality of our rivers, lakes and streams, and provide long term environmental benefits, work is due to start in September 2011 to upgrade the sewer system in Windermere and Keswick.
