What sort of disruption will it cause to motorists, residents and businesses?
There will be some disruption to motorists as some of the works will take place in the highway. We will keep everyone updated on when that will happen via our website. Residents and businesses in proximity to where the work is taking place may also suffer some disruption. However we will do our utmost to ensure the disruption is kept to a minimum and that you are kept informed as the work progresses.
What will the level of noise be and how will you minimise this?
During construction we have noise legislation to work to and will endeavour to keep within the stipulated limits during our working hours.
How will you keep people informed?
We intend on working closely with the local press, releasing press releases should anything significant arise during the project.
We also intend on performing letter drops to those people who will be directly affected by the construction process
Will I still receive the same wastewater services during this work?
Yes – you will be able to use all appliances that produce wastewater.
Will this work affect my water supply?
No – during the sewer improvement work we will not need to turn off your water supply.
